Fairmont, WV – Agile5 Technologies, Inc., a leading tech company based in Fairmont, West Virginia, has been selected as an awardee for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) prestigious Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2nd Generation (ITSSS-2) Blanket Purchase Agreement.
This award places Agile5 among an elite group of 95 companies nationwide chosen to provide critical IT services to the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) over the next eight years.
ITSSS-2 is the largest IT contract vehicle ever established by the FBI. It serves as a follow-up to the highly successful ITSSS contract, which also invested in IT services.
This new agreement will streamline the acquisition of IT services for the FBI, allowing for more efficient establishment of call orders and providing a vetted pool of vendors to advance technology services. ITSSS-2 will be the FBI’s main vehicle for procuring a wide range of IT products and services, standardizing the purchasing process, and forecasting future IT needs.
Agile5’s spot on the contract demonstrates the company’s robust expertise and capability to deliver high-quality IT solutions, according to company leaders.
“This award is not only a testament to our technical capabilities but also highlights the significant impact a small business from Fairmont, West Virginia can have on a national scale,” said Agile5 President and CEO Lisa Fritsch. “Our inclusion in this major contract demonstrates that innovation and excellence can thrive anywhere, and we are proud to contribute to the technological advancements that support national security and public safety.”
As part of ITSSS-2, Agile5 will deliver a range of services including cybersecurity, systems integration, and IT infrastructure management. ITSSS-2 includes one base year and up to seven optional years.
The company’s commitment to excellence and stringent security measures will play a vital role in supporting the FBI’s mission to uphold and enforce federal laws, as well as ensuring the security of the United States.
Being part of the ITSSS-2 contract allows Agile5 to contribute to the modernization and enhancement of the FBI’s IT infrastructure. This initiative is crucial for maintaining national security and ensuring that federal law enforcement agencies have access to the latest technological advancements.
